The last few weeks have been a real roller coaster of emotions, the support and affection we have received keeps pushing in the same direction and as you can see in the “team” section, we not only have a great team of collaborators, but also many companies that trust and will contribute their bit to make Alcolea Party 2025 a success! Frogames, a company with experience and quality content regarding technical training, where you can find among others courses in mathematics, artificial intelligence, or video games, will support AP25, but beyond that has promised us details for all of you… that you will soon know! Watchguard, who also cares about you, will send us another gift that you will take in your welcome kit, in addition to offering a conference for all audiences on cybersecurity.

After fifteen years, with great enthusiasm and with a great team, Alcolea Party returns! An event that was originally defined as LAN Party and that has been reborn with a totally different design and with four areas that we have baptized as “timelines”, of course we keep the LAN Party area, but we will also have a training area that we have called “Hackers & Creators”, a “Gaming” area, and a fourth one called “Expo”. Additionally we will have some surprises that we will be telling you little by little and that you will know as the next weeks go by.

If I had to choose a moment when I have enjoyed the most when I refer to hacking or cybersecurity, I could not fail to highlight the faces of colleagues when I teach awareness courses on this subject. It's rewarding to share, much more to teach, but it's super cool that what you tell, besides impacting is practical. When I became a parent I experienced incredible emotions that I recommend to anyone, a bond that is forged and enriched over time with those little ones so similar to us. But among the extensive catalog of feelings and emotions, one that stands out is that of protection; I would give anything to take care of them, protect them and maintain the bond that unites us. Related to this and seeing the increasing exposure of the little ones in the digital world, I could not let it go … I had to protect my little ones and, since it was in my hand, why not protect the rest? This is the origin of “Cuentos para minihackers”, small stories where a youngster together with his computer parent will solve numerous puzzles and problems, and in this way, will learn about the dangers of the Internet and how to protect themselves from them.
