Alcolea Party 2007

The beginnings

At the end of 2006, an idea that would change a small town in Seville, Alcolea del Río, was born. A team of young people with a common denominator, the passion for computers, configured a plan to offer the population an event never done before. A meeting of people with the same interests where knowledge would be shared, and tournaments and other innovative activities would take place.

Many of our collaborators were at the Alcolea Party and curiously they were experts in many subjects, but especially in cybersecurity or hacking, as we liked to call it. We were lucky to have such brilliant people and they made the event run in a way that exceeded all expectations.
